Tony Stark was a man who prided himself on many talents, however his sense of smell fell within the ranks of the average man. As Pepper passed him he hadn't noticed any deviation from her normal smell...no, he wasn't looking for that at all
He raised his brows as she mentioned the model equipped with extra electronic accessories and a large screen. Of course he could plug it into JARVIS, that was her practicality talking. The other was much simpler, but he could definitely route the functions to the AI and add a few functions of his own. That might not go well with the warranty...but since when did he have concerns about such things? Suddenly, as if she had become aware of some other function, she changed her mind...became indecisive, even, and conservative.
"Surely you prefer one over the other. There's others to choose from too," he slumped forward slightly, enjoying the feel of the water he was testing until he realized a moment too late the sleeves of his shirt and jacket had been generously lapped by the water.
"Tony!" A cheerful voice rang out from the back of the store. A husky looking man with a receding hairline and eager eyes approached...a salesman obviously, "Knew you'd come back. Expected a call first, but obviously not your style. Make a decision yet?"
Tony had slipped the wet sleeve behind his back casually, continuing to lean on the nearest tub. "Actually we're making the final selection. Brought along Pepper for good judgment." He returned his attention to Pepper as if they had never been approached by the salesman, "Well, I would take it into deep consideration...you let me know when something I want to take up from storage into the house is ugly," he put a certain emphasis on the word that implied her honesty, "so why not try the same for an oversized tub?" He smiled thinly, sincere...but mostly curious.
